SILVER SCREEN EVENT - SPONSORED BY LOVE CAKE
TICKETS INCLUDE A CUP OF TEA OR COFFEE, AND DELICIOUS TRAY BAKE FROM LOVE CAKE.

The 1960s saw the screen debuts of a trio of British actors who would achieve international stardom, have lifelong stage and screen careers, and become national treasures. O'Toole in 'Lawrence', Courtney in 'Long Distance Runner' and the late, great Albert Finney in tonight's film. How better to celebrate the late Albert's distinguished acting life than to revisit and enjoy his first compelling starring role as Arthur Seaton.

Q&A EVENT: ANNETTE BROOKE, FORMER MP FOR DORSET AND POOLE, WILL INTRODUCE THE FILM AND WILL LEAD A Q&A AFTER THE SCREENING.

The Divide tells the story of 7 individuals striving for a better life in the modern day US and UK - where the top 0.1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90%. By plotting these tales together, we uncover how virtually every aspect of our lives is controlled by one factor: the size of the gap between rich and poor.

REX IN THE PARK - A HUGE THANK YOU TO SAINSBURY'S

Sainsbury's are supporting the Rex to help raise funds for the refurbishment of the cinema toilets and bar, in order that we can provide to our customers an accessible ramp and accessible toilets - a much needed change for our community cinema.

We are privileged that for 150 days Sainsbury's are supporting The Rex as part of their amazing 150th Birthday Celebrations which will make a huge difference to us and help us to achieve our goal.

The screening at the Priory was a great success with an appreciative audience, in a stunning setting, with traditional deckchairs, retro sweets and delicious hot chocolate with marsh mallows!  What more could anyone wish for!

The team worked tirelessly throughout the day to make the event a huge success. We are most grateful and will be announcing the results of our collaboration in due course.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO SAINSBURY'S FROM THE ENTIRE REX TEAM.
